STAHL CraneSystems: Boat crane in the natural harbour of Gustow on Rügen
This boat crane from Vetter Krantechnik GmbH has been in use in the natural harbour of Gustow on Rügen island since 2011. Equipped with four ST 50 chain hoists on horizontal booms it can lift boats up to 20 tonnes in weight without any additional cross-beam. A cumulative load controller ascertains the total load and monitors the difference in load on the booms: if the load differs by more than 1 t it disconnects the chain hoists.
The top boom, equipped with an ST 10 chain hoist, is designed for raising masts.

The Brombach Lake covers the wide area of 890 ha.
In Ramsberg leisure centre alone there is a marina with 580 berths on water and 170 on land.
Jib cranes with S.W.L.s of up to 5 t hoist the boats in and out of the water.
