Crane endcarriages –
from up to date series manufacture

 

The robust crane endcarriages from STAHL CraneSystems provide the basis of every good crane. In this respect everything depends on accurate manufacture, high safety standards and easy erection.
Our crane endcarriages originate in up to date series manufacture with a certified quality assurance system. They have proven themselves in operation thousands of times and have been improved time and again. Their compact structure makes them easy to mount on both suspension cranes and overhead travelling cranes.

All endcarriages are supplied with primer coat, however they can also be spray-painted in any desired RAL shade. Buffer stops are supplied as standard.

Crane endcarriage for overhead travelling crane – the advantages

  • Endcarriage profile: rectangular tube or welded construction with close tolerances
  • Crane girder connection: high-tensile lateral screw connection between crane connection plate and endcarriage
  • On single girder overhead travelling cranes, additional high-tensile top screw connection
  • Wheel in high-quality spheroidal graphite cast iron with flanges, excellent self-lubrication, maintenance-free ball bearings
  • Low-maintenance direct drive; robust, lifetime-lubricated wheel drive for smooth starting and braking characteristics with minimum load swing. With D.C. disc brake as standard
  

Crane endcarriage for suspension crane – the advantages

  • Endcarriage: steel structure with high geometrical accuracy
  • Crane girder connection: high-tensile screw connection or positive locking connection between crane bridge and endcarriage
  • Four-wheel base frame: optimum adaptation to crane runway girder; low stress on crane runway girder; low deflection of lower flange thanks to optimised wheel profile
  • Travel drive: robust wheel drive with lifetime lubrication ensuring smooth starting and braking characteristics with minimum load swing. DC disc brake included as standard
  • Wheel/runway system: Wheel in high-quality spheroidal graphite cast iron, excellent self-lubrication, maintenance-free ball bearings
